Nissan Motor India Reports 218% Surge in Domestic Sales for July 2026

Nissan Motor India Pvt Ltd has reported a big turnaround in its domestic performance, recording a 218% year-on-year increase in domestic wholesales for July 2026. Domestic dispatches reached 4,518 units, representing a 50% month-on-month growth compared to June 2026. Total monthly wholesales stood at 9,339 units, supported by 4,821 units shipped to international markets. 

The sales surge aligns with the start of nationwide customer deliveries for the Tekton SUV on 20 July 2026, following its global premiere earlier in the month. The Tekton joins the Magnite and Gravite to expand Nissan's domestic offerings into a three-model SUV lineup.

Prior to customer deliveries, a convoy of 60 Tekton SUVs completed a drive from Chandigarh to Leh via Shinku La to establish an India Book of Records entry for the largest single-model convoy reaching the region.  

Saurabh Vatsa, Managing Director of Nissan India, noted that the 218% growth in domestic sales reflects building market momentum and rising customer confidence. He added that the company is continuing to expand its dealership and service network across India to support its broadened product portfolio and sustain long-term growth.
