Norton aims for a super-premium product family, likely 900 cc and above

TVS is set to introduce a new era for the iconic British marque, Norton. TVS has geared up for a significant move for its premium motorcycling brand. We delve into the forthcoming developments as TVS works on launching a new product family for Norton, scheduled for release in 2026.

TVS

Recent reports suggest that TVS is actively engaged in developing a new motorcycle range under the esteemed Norton brand. TVS Motor Chief Executive Officer KN Radhakrishnan, while speaking in a post-earnings conference call he said “We need to have a healthy product pipeline. We are now designing and developing, and putting those products in totality and it will take six to eight quarters to start completely realising the benefits of that.” Unveiling of this new product family is expected to take place in 2026.

TVS

TVS aims to position the upcoming Norton models in the "super-premium" segment. This is a strategic move echoing the trend in key markets, particularly in our markets. These motorcycles are likely to be in the 900 cc and above range, catering to riders seeking high-performance and luxury.

There are indications that the focus of the new Norton lineup might lean towards a retro aesthetic. This strategic move aligns with the resurgence of interest in classic and timeless designs, presenting a blend of heritage and modern engineering.
