Simple Energy has announced the official pricing for its latest electric two-wheeler, the Simple Dot One. The Simple electric scooter now comes with a starting price of ₹ 1,39,999 (Ex-showroom Bangalore). The introductory price for the scooter was ₹ 99,999 for the first few customers till stocks lasted.

Pre-bookings for the Simple Dot One will open from January 27, for all customers. A priority pre-booking window from January 1 onwards exclusively caters to existing Simple One customers, allowing them to switch to the Dot One at the special price of ₹ 1,39,999 (Ex-showroom Bangalore). The pre-booking process, available at (www.simpleenergy.in) and is priced at ₹ 1,947.
The Dot One is Simple Energy's second offering. It has a certified range of 151 km. The Dot One, a sub-variant built on the platform of the Simple One and features a fixed battery, delivering 160 km in IDC, making it the longest-range electric scooter in its category.
The Dot One is available in four colours: Namma Red, Brazen Black, Grace White, and Azure Blue. Responding to customer requests, Simple Energy has introduced LightX and BrazenX colour options.
Dot One claims to be the fastest electric scooter in its segment, accelerating from 0 to 40 kmph in 2.77 seconds. With a 3.7 kWh battery capacity and an 8.5 kW electric motor, it delivers a peak torque output of 72 Nm. Safety features include CBS and disc brakes but it does miss out on ABS. The scooter also has a 35-litre under-seat storage.
Deliveries of the Simple Dot One will begin only in Bengaluru first and gradually extend to other cities in a phased manner.
