Ola Electric is all set to debut yet another new scooter and this time it’s going to be the brand’s first sporty offering. It will also be the brand’s third new launch from the Bengaluru-based public company this year after the Ola S1 Gen3 range, and the Roadster electric motorcycles. Deliveries of the Ola S1 Z and Gig-e were also slated to start this year as well, but were delayed to focus on the Roadster platform.
In the recently shared teaser on Ola’s social media platforms, we get a few sneak peeks of the upcoming scooter’s design with some pointy stylings sticking out. For example, the pillion grab handlebar or the front mudguard are characterised by sharp angular designs. While the upcoming scooter is expected to be based on the same Gen3 platform as the current Ola S1 range, so ride and handling quality might remain more or less the same, aside from a quick, sporty tune of the motor.

The new scooter teased is also expected to debut Ola’s new 4680 cells. This patented type of cells are usually used in cars with Tesla being one of the prime examples, and Ola will be the first manufacturer in India to debut it in its two-wheelers. It's known for their high-dense quality, faster charging capability and lower manufacturing costs – so it remains to be seen how capable these new battery packs are on Ola’s upcoming scooter.
Lastly, Ola is also slated to debut its new vehicle software MoveOS 6. It has been purported that it is AI-integrated, which in turn is expected to further improve the ownership experience overall. So stay tuned to this space, we’ll have a lot to talk about what Ola reveals at its unveil event, Sankalp 2025
