The three S1s benefit from price reduction worth up to ₹25,000.
Ola Electric announced last month its decision to reduce prices of all its S1 models - Ola S1 Pro, Ola S1 Air, and the Ola S1X+. Upon receiving a tremendous response, the marque has decided to extend this price drop until March 31. So, the Ola S1 X+ (4 kWh variant) will continue to be priced at ₹84,999, the Ola S1 Air, which is the 2024 Acko Drive EV Bike Of The Year winner will be priced at ₹1.05 lakh. While, the top-tier Ola S1 Pro will command a asking price of ₹1.30 lakh, until March 31.

Ola isn’t the only OEM to introduce such discounts in recent months. Tork Motors sliced the price of its sole offering, the Kratos R by ₹37,000 bringing down its the asking price from ₹1.87 lakh to ₹1.50 lakh (ex-showroom price, Delhi). Ather also slashed the price of its popular 450S by ₹25,000, now retailing for ₹1.09 lakh (ex-showroom price, Delhi), and the Pro Pack version can be fetched for ₹1.19 lakh.
By narrowing the price gap between conventional ICE and electric scooters, companies are also trying to sway customers towards choosing the latter. Moreover, without any confirmation from the Government of India about whether FAME-II subsidies will be extended or not, manufacturers are bracing for the same with this aggressive strategy.
