Ola Electric has launched the S1 X+ 5.2kWh variant in India, featuring new 4680 Bharat cells. It offers 320 km claimed range and a 125 km/h top speed.
Ola Electric has officially strengthened its position in the Indian electric vehicle market with the launch of a new high range variant of its popular scooter, the Ola S1 X+ 5.2 kWh. This latest addition is designed to cater to consumers seeking long distance capabilities without the premium price tag associated with the flagship Pro models.
The primary highlight of this new variant is the inclusion of Ola’s proprietary 4680 Bharat cells. This advanced battery technology allows the scooter to achieve an IDC certified range of 320 km on a single charge, making it one of the most efficient long range options currently available in the country. To complement the large battery, the scooter is equipped with an 11 kW mid drive motor that enables a top speed of 125 km/h.
In terms of features, the S1 X+ 5.2 kWh maintains the practical approach of the X series. It includes a functional LCD instrument console, multiple riding modes, and a single channel ABS system. The hardware setup features a front disc brake by wire system to ensure safety during high speed commutes.
The new model is strategically positioned within the lineup, sitting between the S1 X+ 4 kWh and the more expensive S1 Pro Plus. Ola has announced an introductory price of ₹1,29,999 (ex-showroom), which is valid until 15 April 2026. Following this period, the price is expected to undergo a revision.
