Here’s everything you need to know about the new OnePlus devices.
OnePlus has officially unveiled its flagship OnePlus 12 in India alongside its affordable mid-range offering, the OnePlus 12R. The OnePlus 12 brings top-of-the-line features while the 12R comes equipped with the largest battery on a OnePlus phone yet. The company also announced the OnePlus Buds 3 TWS earbuds equipped with dual drivers consisting of a woofer and a tweeter unit for an immersive audio experience. Here’s everything you need to know about the new OnePlus devices.
The OnePlus 12 is powered by the powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. It features a large 6.8-inch QHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and LTPO technology for dynamic switching between 1Hz to 120Hz. OnePlus claims the display can reach up to 4500 nits of peak brightness and supports HDR10+ and Dolby Vision playback.
On the camera front, the OnePlus 12 packs a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 50-megapixel primary, 48-megapixel ultrawide, and 64-megapixel periscope telephoto lens offering 3x optical zoom. It is capable of 8K video recording at 24fps. For selfies, there is a 32MP front camera.
The OnePlus 12 is equipped with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. It packs a large 5,400mAh battery with support for 100W wired and 50W wireless charging. Additional features include an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance, Gorilla Glass Victus 2 and OxygenOS 14 based on Android 14 out of the box.
Sitting alongside the flagship OnePlus 12 is the new OnePlus 12R which aims to bring premium experiences to more users at an affordable price point.
The OnePlus 12R features a fourth-generation LTPO4 AMOLED display measuring 6.78 inches with a 1.5K resolution and a claimed brightness of 4500 nits. The screen has a layer of Gorilla Glass Victus 2 for added protection.
It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor paired with up to 16GB RAM and 512GB storage options. It runs on OxygenOS 14 based on Android 14.
The 12R has a triple rear cam setup headlined by a 50-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel and a 2MP macro lens. Upfront, there is a 16-megapixel selfie camera. It is equipped with a larger 5,500mAh battery and supports 100W wired fast charging.
The OnePlus 12 starts at ₹64,999 for the base variant with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage and ₹69,999 for the 16GB+512GB model. It goes on pre-orders from today and goes on sale January 30 onwards.
Meanwhile, the OnePlus 12R is priced starting at ₹39,999 for the 8GB+128GB storage option and ₹45,999 for the 16GB+256GB model. It goes on its first sale on February 6.
The OnePlus Buds 3 TWS earbuds are priced at ₹5499 and go on sale from February 6.
