Bajaj’s top boss has said that KTM is a very profitable part of its own company’s business, one that it doesn’t want to let go off easily.
While the marque registered a cumulative year-on-year sales growth of 16 per cent, in the domestic market its business grew by 7 per cent.
Alongside new products, KN Radhakrishnan also confirmed that it will be manufacturing batteries in India.
At the forefront of this growth is the MG Windsor EV.
The Sonet remains the best-selling model for Kia, with more than 8,000 units sold in April 2025.
In April 2025, the electric two-wheeler segment registered a stellar 40 per cent YoY growth with 91,791 electric two-wheelers cumulatively sold.
Export sales surged to 27,911 units, reflecting a notable increase from 22,160 units in April 2024.
Hyundai sold 60,744 units in April 2025, with 44,374 units sold in domestic market and 16,400 units exported.
Electric vehicle (EV) sales, which are included within total PV numbers, declined sharply by 16 per cent, dropping from 6,364 units last April to 5,318 units this year.
Out of the total sales, domestic sales accounted for 24,833 units, while exports contributed 2,491 units.
