Porsche Cayenne Electric Launched in India Starting at ₹1.77 Crore

Porsche has officially launched the new Cayenne Electric in the Indian market, marking the electrification of one of the luxury carmaker's most established and popular model lines. Porsche has also confirmed that it will continue selling petrol-powered Cayenne models into the next decade alongside the new electric variants.

Porsche Cayenne Electric Price in India

The new Cayenne Electric arrives in India in two performance-oriented variants. The entry-level Cayenne Electric is priced at ₹1.77 crore, while the range-topping Cayenne Turbo Electric commands a price tag of ₹2.27 crore (both ex-showroom). Customer deliveries of the new SUV across India commence from today, September 30, 2026.

Porsche Cayenne Electric Power and Range

Its headline numbers are up to 1140 bhp/1,500 Nm (Turbo) and 436 bhp/835 Nm (standard) of torque sent through an all-wheel-drive system. That allows 0-100 km/h in 2.8 seconds for the Turbo and 4.8 seconds for the standard model.

A 130 kW boost is available for up to 10 seconds, and braking can recover up to 600 kW of energy. Claimed range is 642 km for the standard model and 623 km for the Turbo.

Globally, Porsche recently confirmed that the Cayenne Electric will offer inductive wireless charging, so owners can top up the battery just by parking over a wireless charging pad. First announced earlier, the feature is now being rolled out, doing away with the need to plug in and unplug a charging cable. It remains to be seen if this option is offered in India as well.

Porsche Cayenne Electric Design and Features

The Cayenne Electric keeps its familiar silhouette but looks sharper and more streamlined. It measures 4,985 mm long, 1,980 mm wide, and 1,674 mm tall, with an extended wheelbase that improves comfort.

Notable exterior touches include a low hood, slim LED headlights, frameless doors, a sloping roofline, and a full-width rear light bar. On the Turbo, silver trim pairs with smart aerodynamic aids like active flaps and deployable blades that help extend range.

The cabin centres on Porsche’s Flow Display, the largest screen the brand has ever used. Its curved form integrates seamlessly into the dashboard and is built around intuitive operation. 

A fully digital 14.25-inch OLED instrument cluster sits ahead of the driver, showing the power meter along with navigation and driver-assistance information. There’s also an optional 14.9-inch passenger display that handles entertainment, apps, and video streaming.
