Range Rover Sport SV Carbon Edition Revealed

Land Rover is on a spree as it has just introduced the Range Rover Sport SV Carbon edition. Just recently, the Range Rover Sport SV got a Black Edition too. Land Rover is touting this as a lightweight performance version of the Range Rover Sport. 

The Range Rover Sport SV Carbon edition is available in four colour options as standard, but can be had with any of the colours from the SV Premium Palette. It comes with carbon detailing around the exhaust tips and bonnet. It also comes with 23-inch forged alloy wheels, but customers can choose 23-inch carbon fibre wheels as well. 

Inside, the Range Rover Sport SV Carbon edition comes with four cabin themes – Windsor Leather with Ebony, Rosewood/Ebony, or Light Cloud/Ebony as well as Cinder Grey/Ebony seats with Ultrafabrics (eco-friendly material). The dashboard and seatbacks also get carbon fibre, with either forged carbon or Twill carbon finish. 

The Range Rover Sport SV Carbon Edition is powered by a 626 bhp, 750 Nm, 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 engine with mild hybrid assist. It has a top speed of 290 kmph, and comes with 6D Dynamics suspension which Land Rover claims enhances “pitch and roll control for maximum composure when cornering, accelerating and braking.”

Like with all Land Rover and Range Rover models, the Range Rover Sport SV Carbon Edition can be expected to be launched in India. When? That remains a big question but expect it to happen either later this year or early next year.
