The new prices apply to CBU imports from the UK, and are effective immediately.

JLR India has announced an immediate price revision for its Range Rover CBU models imported from the UK, with the Range Rover SV and Range Rover Sport SV receiving significant price cuts ahead of the implementation of the UK-India Free Trade Agreement. The company said the revised prices reflect the new duty structure enabled by the FTA and are effective immediately.

The Range Rover SV price in India has been reduced from ₹4.25 crore to ₹3.50 crore, making the flagship luxury SUV cheaper by ₹75 lakh. The Range Rover Sport SV price in India has been revised from ₹2.75 crore to ₹2.35 crore, a reduction of ₹40 lakh. Both prices are starting ex-showroom prices.

Range Rover SV₹4.25 crore₹3.50 crore₹75 lakh17.6%
Range Rover Sport SV₹2.75 crore₹2.35 crore₹40 lakh14.5%

According to JLR India, the repricing applies specifically to Range Rover CBU models imported from the UK. The Range Rover SV also gets an enhanced value proposition, with SV Ultra Metallic paints in Gloss and Satin finishes now being offered as standard for the first time.

Rajan Amba, Managing Director, JLR India, said the company was extending the benefits of the India-UK FTA to clients in anticipation of its implementation. He added that the updated pricing of the Range Rover SV and Range Rover Sport SV underlines JLR India’s customer-first approach and its focus on building long-term relationships with clients. He also said the FTA would allow more customers to experience the SV portfolio and further strengthen JLR India’s growth story.

JLR India clarified that prices of locally manufactured models, including the Range Rover, Range Rover Sport, Range Rover Evoque, Range Rover Velar and Discovery Sport, will not be affected by the UK-India FTA. Defender and Discovery will also continue with their current pricing structures, as these models are manufactured in Slovakia, Europe, and therefore do not come under the scope of the UK-India FTA.
