Renault will use BLS E-Services’ extensive network in rural and semi-urban areas to sell its products.
Renault India has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with BLS E-Services to enhance the French marque’s presence in rural India. Renault says this partnership will help boost the reach and accessibility of its recently updated lineup among customers in the rural market.
With this partnership, Renault aims to use BLS E-Services’ network of 50,000 touchpoints, customer service points (CSPs), virtual learning environments (VLEs) and 1,000 digital stores to raise awareness about its product range outside of urban areas. The brand says anyone who books its products through BLS E-Services will enjoy a seamless booking experience, financing options and test drives.
BLS E-Services says it will actively promote awareness and empower rural consumers to access a variety of goods and services through its platforms. Furthermore, this partnership with Renault is in harmony with BLS for it to become a catalyst for growth in rural areas.
Sudhir Malhotra, Vice President, Sales & Marketing, Renault India, said, “Rural India holds great potential for us, and through our collaboration with BLS E-Services, we aspire to deepen our presence in these markets by introducing our made-in-India, made-for-the-world cars that are designed to cater the unique preferences of our customers. Leveraging the digital and on-site strengths of BLS, we have the assurance of presenting Renault's automotive technology to newer and diverse customer segments.”
Shikhar Aggarwal, Chairman of BLS E-Services, said, “By forging this alliance with Renault India, we are sculpting a dynamic landscape of progress. This collaboration transcends transportation; it's a transformative journey, delivering Renault’s automotive brilliance directly to the heart of rural India.
Renault updated its entire lineup earlier this year. The Kwid and Kiger get new variants and all three (Kwid, Kiger and Triber) models get an updated features list. Renault has also added rear seat belt reminders across its model range. Read more about it here or watch the video below.
