The upcoming flagship Bullet will be built around the same 650 cc platform that debuted with the Interceptor 650.

Fresh from the launch of the new Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450, the Chennai-based two-wheeler manufacturer has trademarked the name of another new bike that will be based on the 650 cc platform — the Royal Enfield Bullet 650 Twin Name.

Royal

We have already spotted the Royal Enfield Bullet 650 Twin test mules several times before. Based on those spy shots, we can say with certainty that the upcoming Bullet 650 Twin will carry forward the same classic, retro styling similar to its smaller 350cc sibling, the Bullet 350. Therefore, design elements like the squared-off fender, headlight beak, and single-piece seat will also be seen in the Royal Enfield Bullet 650 Twin.

However, since the 650 cc parallel-twin engine will power it, Royal Enfield will tweak the bike's chassis and frame to accommodate the bigger engine and thereby will end up with a butch and muscular appeal. The engine will carry forward the same 47 bhp/ 52 Nm tune as has been the case with the Interceptor 650, Continental GT 650, Super Meteor 650, and the recently launched Shotgun 650.

As for its price, we expect Royal Enfield to follow the same strategy as it did with its 350 cc line-up, wherein the Bullet 350 is the brand's entry-level model. Similarly, the upcoming Royal Enfield Bullet 650 Twin is also expected to be an entry point to the brand's 650 cc portfolio. As part of that strategy, we expect it to be priced from ₹3 lakh onwards (ex-showroom).

As for its launch, Royal Enfield is already slated to launch the Classic 650 and the Scrambler 650, aka the Interceptor Bear 650 (the design of which was recently patented) this year. Therefore, we expect the Bullet 650 Twin to launch sometime in 2025, by May or June.
