We’ve already spotted the Royal Enfield Bullet 650 being tested on public roads several times before.
After several spy shots Royal Enfield is now well on its way to launch the 650 cc Bullet by trademarking the name Royal Enfield Bullet 650 Twin. We have already spotted the bike several times on public roads being tested, and by the looks of it, it will carry forward a very similar architecture that we recently experienced on the Classic 650.
No points for guessing here, the upcoming Royal Enfield Bullet 650 will be powered by the 648 cc, parallel-twin engine. Performance will remain the same as well, i.e. 47 bhp/52.3 Nm, as it gets the two-into-two exhaust like most of the RE 650s. The engine will continue to be housed inside the same dual-cradle frame that will be suspended by telescopic fork up front and dual-shock absorbers at the rear. Braking duties will be carried by disc brakes at both ends which will in all probability be the same 320/ 300 mm disc brakes as seen on the Classic 650.
Feature-wise, we expect Royal Enfield to retain the analogue system here. So right from those tiger eye bulb lamps to its instrument cluster, the upcoming Bullet 650 twin will be as authentic and retro as a Royal Enfield can get.
Royal Enfield is yet to give us an official launch date for the upcoming Bullet 650 Twin. But given how long the brand has been testing this bike, we reckon the Royal Enfield Bullet 650 Twin should hit shelves pretty soon. It might be preceded by an official showcase at EICMA 2025, followed by its market launch end-2025.
