The flagship cafe racer could witness a bump in its spec sheet and receive upgraded hardware.
As we gear up for the launch of the new Royal Enfield Goan Classic 350 this week, the company is already busy testing its sportiest bike yet. Pictures of the next generation Continental GT 650 undergoing testing for the first time have emerged. The bike was spotted running twin disc brakes on the front wheel leading us to believe the next generation bike will be more powerful and could be called the Continental GT 750. It’s rumored that Royal Enfield is boring-out the current 650 cc twin-cylinder engine to push out close to 55 bhp and over 60 Nm.

The fairing design of the Royal Enfield Continental GT 750 is different from the current bike as it’s larger thereby helping with aerodynamics. The riding posture also looks more aggressive as the clip-on handlebar seems to be lower set. Other details on the test mule includes blacked-out finish on the exhaust mufflers and the engine, while the tail light looked similar to the current Continental GT 650. The main frame seems to be the same and what’s surprising is that the cafe racer test mule was running a telescopic fork and not a USD fork, which were seen on the new Interceptor Bear 650.
The Royal Enfield Continental GT 750 test mule was riding on 18-inch alloy wheels wrapped with sporty tyres, whether we will see a spoke wheel on the production version remains to be seen. It’s still early days for the next generation cafe racer as testing seems to have commenced just now, so we expect the Royal Enfield Continental GT 750 to go on sale by late 2025 or early 2026.
