The Royal Enfield Flying Flea S6 is expected to go on sale in India around the end of 2026 or early 2027.
Royal Enfield will be stepping into the world of electric mobility with the Flying Flea range of electric motorcycles in 2026. The first model under this dedicated EV brand will be the C6 which broke cover at EICMA 2024. This model is expected to hit the roads in India by mid-2026. The Flying Flea C6 will be followed by the Flying Flea S6, which was also showcased alongside the former.
The Chennai-based bike manufacturer has filed a patent application for the Flying Flea S6 with the Office of the Controller General of Designs, Patents and Trademarks under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry. The patents reveal a design which is very similar to the concept model showcased earlier.
Based on the same platform as the Flying Flea C6, the S6 is a scrambler version of the former and hence it receives a few subtle updates over the former. For instance, the C6 gets very contemporary alloy wheels whereas the S6 seems to roll on wire-spoked 19-inch front and 18-inch rear wheels which are wrapped in knobby dual-purpose tyres.

Like the C6, the S6 is lean and taut with minimal bodywork but gets a slightly taller stance. Other notable visual highlights seen in the Flying Flea S6 include a long and flat seat, circular rearview mirrors, a beak-like front fender, a round headlamp with a chrome bezel, a faux engine casing, gold anodised front forks, and a floating tail section. The water drop-shaped fuel tank on the S6 looks familiar to the C6, however, the side panel looks a little different.
In terms of features, the Flying Flea S6 uses a circular instrument display, similar to the C6. A dedicated switchgear is provided to navigate through a variety of functions on the instrument console. Speaking of which, this instrument panel will come equipped with Bluetooth connectivity, and turn-by-turn navigation. This TFT display will run on an in-house operating system powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon QWM2290 processor.

Thanks to its scrambler credentials, the Flying Flea S6 is slated to offer 60 percent more suspension travel than the C6. It is also expected to clock a quicker 0 to 60 kmph acceleration time. Another major point of difference between the C6 and the S6 is the fact that the former uses a belt drive whereas the latter employs a traditional chain drive, as seen in the latest patent images.

As of now, details related to battery capacity, motor output, and riding range of the S6 have not been disclosed. However, the patents suggest a multi-finned magnesium battery casing, designed to help with heat dissipation. We also see an upside-down front fork and a rear mono-shock. More concrete details about the Flying Flea S6 are expected to surface when its launch is around the corner, either towards the end of 2026 or early 2027.
