The funky Goan Classic 350 is the most premium 350 cc bike in Royal Enfield's lineup.
Royal Enfield has launched the Goan Classic 350 at its annual motorcycle festival, Motoverse 2024. The brand’s first 350 cc bobber starts from ₹ 2.35 lakh onwards. It is available in 4 variants and the top variant will set you back by ₹2.38 lakh. Bookings for the bike and deliveries for the same will also commence from today.
Royal Enfield Goan Classic 350 Variants | Ex-showroom Price |
Rave Red | ₹2.38 lakh |
Trip Teal | ₹2.35 lakh |
Purple Haze | ₹2.35 lakh |
Shack Black | ₹2.35 lakh |
The asking price is, on average ₹5,000-₹8,000 more than the standard Classic. Considering the extra goodies on offer, the Goan certainly comes across as the premium and more youthful Classic of the family.
Based on the Classic 350 — the new Royal Enfield Goan Classic 350 is more than just its bobber derivative. Besides those ape-hanger-styled handlebars, and funky, hippie colour options — the Goan Classic 350 is RE’s first 350 cc bike to ride on tubeless spoke wheels, get metal switch cubes and all-LED lighting. Further enhancing its retro-chic appeal is that floating seat design that is 50 mm lower than the Classic’s at 750 mm. Additionally, its 19-/16-inch tubeless spoke wheels shod with white-walled tyres further help keep its aesthetic on point. Unfortunately, the changes made to the chassis have pushed the weight slightly upwards, and the new Royal Enfield Goan Classic 350 tips the scale at 197 kg, which is 2 kg heavier than the Classic 350.
On the feature side, Royal Enfield has carried forward the same semi-digital analogue instrument cluster from the Classic 350. Plus the Tripper Pod navigation is available as a standard, along with the USB port as well. Mechanically, the Royal Enfield Goan Classic 350 is powered by the same 349 cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that produces 20.2 bhp and 27 Nm. The 5-speed gearbox carries forward as it is as well.
The new Royal Enfield Goan Classic 350 is the brand’s second bobber offering after the Shotgun 650. It will launch in a market which has very little competition, except for Jawa’s Perak and 42 Bobber.
