Royal Enfield Himalayan 750: Expected Price, Launch Timeline, New 750 cc Engine, & More Details Explained

The upcoming Royal Enfield Himalayan 750 is among the most important new launches for the brand. The most powerful Himalayan will also be the most premium and expensive Royal Enfield bike to go on sale. Spy shots of the bike have emerged for over a year, and the bike was also showcased at the 2025 EICMA motorcycle show. However the company has been very secretive about details of the new ADV offering. Here’s what you can expect from the Himalayan 750.

Royal Enfield Himalayan 750 Features: RE Goes Premium

With the Himalayan 750, Royal Enfield is expected to introduce many new features that we haven’t seen in the past for its ICE range. The test mule sported the same round TFT instrument console as seen on the Himalayan 450, but it’s expected to get modern touches such as a traction control system, cruise control, and ride-by-wire throttle. It could also feature a quickshifter. Keeping the international audience in mind, the Himalayan 750 might also be equipped with heated grips. We spotted adjustable long travel suspension on the bike displayed at the 2025 EICMA show. Apart from that, this ADV will also get Google Maps for navigation, riding modes, switchable ABS, Bluetooth connectivity, and more.

Royal Enfield Himalayan 750 Off-Roading: Doesn’t Like To Get Its Feet Dirty

While the bike will be called the Himalayan 750, it isn’t a proper off-road bike, as we had seen with the Himalayan 411 and even the Himalayan 450. This is despite the fact that the upcoming adventure bike gets a custom trellis frame to better suit its dynamics. The main culprit here is weight: the Himalayan 450 is already a heavy bike and the a burly 750 cc engine will not only add more heft, but will also increase its width. So the Himalayan 750 is more of a sports tourer than an adventure tourer, and we expect it to weigh close to 250 kg. The most you could venture off the tarmac would be on light trails.

Royal Enfield Himalayan 750: Might Have Dual Personality

As we stated above, the Himalayan 750 isn’t a hardcore off-road bike, as it rides on a 19/17-inch setup as opposed to the 21/17-inch wheels seen on the Himalayan 450. The bike showcased at EICMA was sporting tubeless spoke wheels with dual-purpose tyres. However, an alloy wheel variant has also been spotted testing on Indian roads. This leads us to believe that there will be two variants — one with alloy wheels and road-biased tyres, plus a more expensive tubeless spoke wheel variant.

Royal Enfield Himalayan 750 Engine: Bigger Heart!

The flagship Himalayan will feature an updated 750 cc, twin-cylinder engine. This new powerplant will be the bored-out version of the existing 650 Twins motor and will continue to be air/oil-cooled and not liquid-cooled as seen on the Himalayan 450. The focus of this motor will be a torque-heavy character and one can expect it to deliver around 60-65 Nm and close to 50-55 bhp. The powerplant will feature a 6-speed transmission unit. The larger displacement along with the twin-cylinder layout should offer a good touring experience, as this engine should feel refined at speeds between 100-130 kmph. The low-end torque also promises that the Himalayan 750 will be easy to ride at city speeds, but its heft might restrict outright acceleration performance.

Royal Enfield Himalayan 750: Expected Launch Date and Pricing

We are certain that the production-spec Himalayan 750 will be unveiled at the 2026 EICMA bike show in Italy in November, 2026. Royal Enfield could follow that up by displaying the new ADV at Motoverse 2026 in Goa, where bookings might commence and the price could be announced. Deliveries might commence by the end of 2026 or early 2027. As for pricing, we expect the Himalayan 750 to retail for around ₹4.00–4.80 lakh (ex-showroom).
