The Royal Enfield Classic 350 continues to spearhead RE’s success story.
Royal Enfield continues to break records after a very busy end to FY25. After announcing last month how the brand surpassed 1 million annual sales for the first time in its history, the Chennai-based manufacturer announced how those sales figures translated to impressive financial returns. For starters, in the last quarter alone, Royal Enfield sold 2,80,801 motorcycles, representing a 23.2 per cent increase compared to Q4 FY24. This surge helped the brand achieve its highest-ever quarterly revenue of ₹5,241 crore, which was a 23.1 per cent rise over the same period last year.
The Classic 350 continues to dominate Royal Enfield's sales volume. The Hunter 350 remains the second most popular offering in the company's lineup. The production of the lighter and sportier member of the J series family slowed down towards the end of the quarter as the updated version arrived a few weeks ago.
For context, Royal Enfield manufactured 3,66,234 units of the Classic 350 in FY25, compared to 2,13,338 units of the Hunter 350. On the other hand, sales of the 650 Twin models (Interceptor and Continental GT) gained momentum last year too, increasing from 19,316 units to 32,420 units. However, the Royal Enfield Super Meteor has remained relatively stable.
Interestingly, domestic sales of the Himalayan 450 dropped from 37,073 in FY24 to 27,494 units in FY25. But exports of the same model almost tripled last year, from 8,464 units in FY24 to 25,333 units in FY25. Will the arrival of the KTM 390 Adventure cause further disruption in its sales? We shall find out in the coming few months.

As a result, the company's EBITDA increased by 11.4 per cent in Q4 FY25, reaching ₹1,258 crore, while Profit After Tax (PAT) grew by 27.3 per cent to ₹1,362 crore. Overall, Royal Enfield's annual revenue increased by 7.7 per cent in FY25 to ₹23,548 crore, with EBITDA at ₹2,023 crore and Profit After Tax rising to ₹1,286 crore.
This growth comes at a critical juncture as Royal Enfield prepares to enter the electric vehicle segment with the Flying Flea C6. This venture into completely new technology will require significant investment in infrastructure – from charging facilities to manufacturing expansion.
