Sadhguru took a lap of the BIC while Raina and Marc Marquez engaged in a discussion
The inaugural round of the Indian GP has not only been instrumental in attracting a horde of racing enthusiasts but a few interesting celebrities as well. On Thursday, former Indian cricketer, Suresh Raina, attended the Indian GP at the Buddh International Circuit and he had a ball of a time, quite literally! He was seen bowling to the KTM duo of Brad Binder and Jack Miller. Interestingly both the KTM riders come from nations that are renowned for their cricketing prowess.
Raina had a busy day as after cricket, it was time for him to ride but with a twist. He was later joined by 8-time champion, Marc Marquez who took him for a spin around the BIC race track but as a pillion. Raina was in a sidecar and the bike used was a Royal Enfield, not sure why the Honda CB350 H'ness was given the cold shoulder. Anyway the scene reminded us of the iconic Bollywood flick Sholay and both Raina and Marquez were visibly happy after their little track excursion.

On Friday, spiritual guru Sadhguru visited the BIC race track as the riders got their first taste of the circuit on their machines. Sadhguru was astride the BMW K1600 GT, the same bike that he had used for the Save Soil Moment ride in which he covered over 30,000 km across various continents.

We expect more celebrities and political leaders to make their presence felt at the inaugural IndianGP. On September 23 action at the race track heats up as qualifying sessions for all the three classes will be underway and the Super exciting Sprint race too.
