Samsung Galaxy F06 5G Budget Smartphone Unveiled: Specs, Features, More

Samsung on Wednesday expanded its budget lineup in India with the new Galaxy F06 5G. The device features a 6.7-inch HD+ LCD display with an 8MP front-facing camera housed in a notch design.

The smartphone will be available in Bahama Blue and Lit Violet colour options. Pricing starts at Rs 9,499 for the 4GB RAM/128GB storage variant, while the 6GB RAM/128GB model is priced at Rs 10,999, including a limited-time Rs 500 bank cash back offer.

Sales will begin February 20th through retail stores, Samsung.com, and various online platforms.

Under the hood, the smartphone is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor and offers configurations of up to 6GB RAM, with an additional 6GB of virtual RAM. The device ships with Android 14 and Samsung's One UI interface. The company has pledged to provide four generations of OS updates and four years of security patches.

The Galaxy F06 5G sports a distinctive "Ripple Glow" finish that creates a shimmering effect. For photography, it houses a dual-camera setup consisting of a 50MP main sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. Security features include a side-mounted fingerprint reader. 

The device is powered by a 5000mAh battery supporting 25W fast charging, though buyers should note that a charger is not included in the package.
