Skoda Auto India Registers Strong Sales Momentum in H1 2026

Sustaining its strong commercial performance from the previous fiscal year, Skoda Auto India has officially delivered another great retail performance during the first half of calendar year 2026.

According to official corporate dispatches, the European automaker registered cumulative sales of 38,894 units between January and June 2026, marking a solid 7.5% growth compared to the corresponding period last year. This milestone is particularly significant as H1 2025 had previously represented the company’s highest-ever half-yearly sales volume in its 25-year operational history in the country.

Reflecting on the record-breaking volumes, Ashish Gupta, Brand Director of Skoda Auto India, noted that the strong market demand for the newly introduced Kushaq SUV, the updated Kodiaq luxury premium crossover, and the highly exclusive Kodiaq RS underlined the deep emotional connection and trust local buyers place in the brand's engineering prowess. Furthermore, the compact Kylaq SUV continues to serve as the brand's primary volume generator, while the Slavia sedan reinforces the company's traditional legacy in the three-box vehicle segment.

Going forward, Skoda is expected to soon introduce the facelifted Slavia to the Indian market, which will come with a fresh design and feature updates inspired by the Kushaq facelift.
