Skoda has teased the interior of its upcoming Epiq electric SUV through official sketches.
Skoda Auto has offered the first look at the interior of the upcoming Skoda Epiq electric SUV, underlining how important the compact crossover will be to the Czech carmaker’s next phase of electric vehicle growth.
The fully electric Epiq, positioned as Skoda’s most affordable all-electric compact SUV, will make its world premiere in Zurich on 19 May 2026. The Epiq is significant because it will be the first Skoda series-production model to fully adopt the brand’s Modern Solid design language.
The newly released interior sketches show a minimalist, clean and angular cabin, with Skoda focusing on a clearly structured layout, practical storage and ease of use. The conventional dashboard has been replaced by horizontal interior architecture, which is intended to enhance the sense of space and openness inside the compact SUV.

For Skoda, the Epiq is more than just another electric model. The company has said the SUV will play a key role in doubling Skoda’s BEV portfolio in 2026, making it central to the brand’s electric mobility plans.
The cabin also reflects Skoda’s familiar emphasis on practicality. The interior features an open storage compartment, a freestanding centre console with wireless charging, ambient lighting and selectively used sustainable materials. These elements are aimed at combining everyday usability with a more modern, digital-first cabin experience.
The timing of the Epiq is important for Skoda’s broader business strategy. The company’s Next Level Skoda Strategy targets a place among the top three best-selling brands in Europe by the end of the decade. To achieve that, Skoda is offering a mix of battery-electric, hybrid and internal combustion engine models, while also focusing on growth markets including India, Vietnam and the ASEAN region.
With the Skoda Epiq electric SUV, the carmaker is aiming to combine affordability, practicality and modern design in a segment that is expected to be crucial for mass-market EV adoption in Europe. But will it come to India? Not yet.
