Škoda to Increase Prices in India From October 1; Slavia Facelift Price Reveal Date Confirmed

Škoda Auto India has announced a price increase across its entire vehicle portfolio, effective from October 1, 2026. The ex-showroom price revision ranges up to 1.2% depending on the specific model and variant, with the maximum increase capped at ₹20,000.

The Czech automobile manufacturer cited rising input and operational costs as the primary drivers behind the price adjustment.

The price revision comes at the tail end of an active calendar year for Škoda in India, where the carmaker outlined ten major product actions for 2026. These initiatives include updates to the Kushaq, Slavia, and Kodiaq, the introduction of performance models such as the Kodiaq RS and Octavia RS, new trims for the Kylaq, and the rollout of new Classic+ and Prestige+ trims across the range.

Prices for the recently unveiled Slavia facelift will be officially announced on October 6. The updated sedan features mildly revised exterior styling, an expanded equipment list, and a new 8-speed automatic transmission for the 1.0-litre TSI engine, replacing the outgoing torque converter unit.
