From a panoramic sunroof to a new automatic gearbox, here’s what’s new in the 2026 Skoda Kushaq facelift.
Skoda has unveiled the facelifted Kushaq which is expected to go on sale in March this year. Pre-bookings for the same have commenced. The updated Kushaq comes with plenty of updates over the pre-facelift. Here’s a rundown of all changes that are seen in the new Skoda Kushaq.
Skoda has made several changes on the skin of the new Kushaq. Up front, the face wears a new look with a revised iteration of the Butterfly grille flanked by sleeker LED headlamps and integrated LED DRLs. The connected LED strip across the grille is a new highlight. The bumper has been reprofiled to house a larger air dam, giving the Kushaq a bolder stance.

The side profile remains intact but gets a new design for the 17-inch alloy wheels. At the rear, the taillamps are now connected by a light bar across the tailgate with an illuminated “SKODA” letter in bold. The other big addition are the sequential LED turn indicators. The rear bumper has been reworked to give the SUV a better road presence.
The 2026 Kushaq facelift is offered in a palette of eight exterior colours, including three newly introduced shades — Shimla Green, Cherry Red, and Steel Grey. The lineup is rounded out by the continued availability of Candy White, Carbon Steel, Brilliant Silver, Lava Blue, and Deep Black.

The new Skoda Kushaq has gained quite a few features over its predecessor. For starters, it gets a new 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster that comes with in-built navigation. The 10-inch infotainment system has been upgraded which now offers a new Google-powered AI companion. Skoda is said to have updated the climate control with a stronger air conditioning system. Other notable additions include front parking sensors, panoramic sunroof, and second-row massage function.

Skoda continues to offer the same turbo petrol engine options in Kushaq as the previous model: a 1.0-litre 3-cylinder TSI unit and a 1.5-litre 4-cylinder TSI unit. The big change, however, is the addition of a new 8-speed torque converter automatic gearbox to the 1.0-litre turbo petrol unit. This new transmission is said to offer better fuel efficiency than the outgoing 6-speed automatic unit. Skoda says that the new gearbox is more suited for Indian driving conditions like bumper-to-bumper traffic.

Max Power | 114 bhp | 148 bhp |
Max Torque | 178 Nm | 250 Nm |
