The price hike is the first one on the Skoda Kylaq since the GST revision last September, which benefitted the SUV with a massive price reduction.
Skoda Auto India has updated the prices on the Kylaq for the new year, and the subcompact SUV is now pricier by up to ₹19,295, depending on the variant. The Skoda Kylaq is now priced from ₹7.59 lakh onwards, going up to ₹12.99 lakh (ex-showroom). It continues to be the automaker’s most accessible offering in India. The price hike is the first one since the GST revision last September, which benefitted the SUV with a massive price reduction.

The entry-level Skoda Kylaq Classic variant is now more expensive by ₹4,349, while the Signature MT and Signature AT trims are dearer by ₹10,000 each, and continue to be priced just under ₹10 lakh. The Kylaq Signature+ MT and AT trims are now more expensive by 10,357 and ₹9,736 respectively. Lastly, the top-spec Prestige MT commands a ₹15,341 premium, while the Kylaq Prestige AT gets the maximum hike at ₹19,295. The range now tops out at ₹12.99 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom.

The Skoda Kylaq has been a gamechanger for the automaker and single-handedly contributed over 50 per cent to its total sales in the 2025 calendar year. Skoda sold 43,000 units of the Kylaq last year, out of the 72,665 vehicles sold, registering a 107 per cent growth year-on-year when compared to 35,166 units sold in 2024. This is the Czech automaker’s best-ever annual sales numbe₹ in its 25-year-long run in India.
The Skoda Kylaq checks all the right boxes as a fun family car. The SUV packs the 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine paired with a 6-speed manual and a torque converter automatic. The driving dynamics are sorted without compromising on the ride quality, which sets it apart from the competition. The competitive pricing has also been crucial to its success. That said, the Kylaq now faces heat from the new-gen Hyundai Venue, along with the segment leade₹ Tata Nexon, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Kia Sonet, and more.
