Škoda Auto India is bringing back the Octavia RS performance sedan with a second limited allocation of 50 units.
Škoda Auto India has announced the re-introduction of the Octavia RS performance sedan in the Indian market with a second, limited allocation of 50 units. Following the quick sell-out of its initial 100-unit batch last year, the new allocation caters to strong enthusiast demand despite its premium positioning.
The sedan continues to be sold as a completely built-up unit (CBU) priced at ₹49.99 lakh (ex-showroom) and is offered in three exterior paint options: Mamba Green, Velvet Red, and Magic Black. Deliveries are scheduled to commence around the start of the festive season. Pre-bookings for the new allocation are open already for a token amount of ₹2.5 lakh.
Customers who previously reserved the Octavia RS but could not secure a car from the initial allocation receive priority access to the booking window until 5:00 PM on 19 August, after which remaining units will open to other buyers subject to availability.

Powering the front-wheel-drive performance sedan is a 2.0-litre TSI turbo-petrol engine producing 265 bhp and 370 Nm of torque, paired with a seven-speed DSG automatic gearbox. Skoda claims a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 6.7 seconds. Performance-focused chassis tech includes an electronic differential lock (VAQ), adaptive chassis control (DCC), and progressive steering to adjust handling responses across drive modes.
Visually, the RS variant features a gloss-black grille, black exterior trim, RS badging, an aerodynamic body package, LED Matrix headlights, 19-inch alloy wheels, and a rear spoiler. Inside, the cabin gets RS-specific sports seats with red stitching, aluminium pedals, a three-spoke multifunction steering wheel, a 10.25-inch Virtual Cockpit digital display, a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless SmartLink, and ambient lighting.
