Skoda India reported sales of 61,607 units between January and September 2025, showing a performance led by the Kylaq whilst the Kushaq and Slavia recorded declines in global deliveries. The three models manufactured at the Pune facility exhibited divergent trends during the nine-month period.

The Kylaq emerged as the brand's growth driver with 30,100 units sold globally between January and September 2025. The sub-four-metre SUV, which launched in December 2024, accounted for 65% of Skoda India's domestic sales in the period. The model received 5-star safety ratings from Bharat NCAP and features a 1.0-litre TSI engine producing 114 bhp.

However, the Kushaq recorded 9,800 units in global sales during January to September 2025, marking a 22.7% decline compared to the same period in 2024. Domestic sales stood at 7,212 units in the first eight months of 2025. The model witnessed a 56% year-on-year sales drop in September 2025 alone, with 769 units sold.

 Skoda Slavia

The Slavia sedan registered 10,200 units globally between January and September 2025, reflecting an 8.4% decline. India recorded 8,653 units in the first eight months of 2025. September 2025 saw the Slavia achieve 1,339 domestic units, down 4% year-on-year.

Both the Kushaq and Slavia serve as export models for Skoda, with completely knocked-down kits manufactured at the Pune facility. The brand commenced assembly operations in Vietnam in March 2025, where CKD kits from India are assembled at a Quang Ninh province facility. Skoda exports to the Middle East, Africa and ASEAN regions from its Pune production base.

The Vietnam facility targets 27,000 units annually after 2027, whilst Skoda expanded its Vietnam dealership network from 15 to 32 outlets in 2025. The Pune plant increased production capacity by 30% to 255,000 units with the Kylaq launch.
