SMK Helmets has signed an exclusive, season-long partnership with 21-year-old Indian racer Kavin Quintal for the 2026 motorsport season.
Homegrown helmet manufacturer SMK Helmets has announced a season-long partnership with 21-year-old Indian motorcycle racer Kavin Quintal. Competing for the BMW EasyRace Team, the Chennai-born rider will represent the brand on the global racing stage for the remainder of the 2026 season.
Under this strategic agreement, Quintal will exclusively use the brand's premium track-focused gear, specifically the flagship Titan Carbon Racing helmet, across all competitive races, official training sessions, and championship appearances.
The technical backing comes at a crucial point in the athlete's international career as he steps up to the competitive Spanish Speed Championship Cup in the SBK category. The young racer has already made an impact in the European championship by securing consecutive podium finishes during the season opener at the Jerez circuit.
Over his eight-year motorsport career, Quintal has built a diverse track record across elite international feeder series, including the Asia Talent Cup, Thai Talent Cup, Asia Road Racing Championship, and the FIM Junior World Championship. Notably, he also holds the historic distinction of being the first Indian rider to compete as a wildcard entry in the production-derived FIM Supersport 300 World Championship.

The flagship helmet being supplied to the rider is constructed using advanced carbon fibre layers to deliver a high strength-to-weight ratio designed to lower rider fatigue at high speeds. It features an aerodynamic profile tailored for high-speed stability, a multi-density EPS liner engineered to absorb heavy linear and rotational impacts, and track-homologated professional visors equipped with tear-off systems.
This partnership follows the brand's entry into international motorsport earlier this year in March, where it became the official technical helmet sponsor for the Moto4 Latin Cup, marking the first time an Indian helmet brand entered the competitive Road to MotoGP ecosystem. Introduced originally in 2016 as a premium brand under Studds Accessories Limited, the company now exports its product portfolio to over 70 countries globally.
