Beyond performance, Sonalika has emphasised operator comfort and ease of use with the two new Gold Series tractors.
Sonalika Tractors has expanded its portfolio with the launch of the all-new Sonalika Gold Series, commemorating three decades of its existence in the tractor market. The new series includes two flagship models — Gold DI 745 III and Gold DI 55 III — that are positioned as a future-ready investment aimed at meeting evolving agricultural demands.
On completing 30 years, Raman Mittal, Joint Managing Director, International Tractors Ltd, said, "In over 30 years of partnership with the Indian farmers, we have learned a fundamental truth - farmers look for strength that is trusted and offers endurance for generations. In our Indian culture, GOLD stands as a pillar of safety, symbol of stability, and represents tomorrow’s security and farmers deserve the same certainty from their tractors.”
The Gold Series draws inspiration from the cultural significance of gold as a secure and appreciating asset. Sonalika states that the new tractors are engineered to serve not only as reliable farming partners today but also as long-term investments capable of supporting future farming needs.
With increasing mechanisation and the growing size of farm implements, the company has focused on strengthening core components to ensure the tractors can handle heavier workloads across diverse applications and terrains.
At the heart of the new Gold DI 745 III is a 3-cylinder E3.5 engine with a displacement of 3,532 cc, claimed to be the biggest in its category. The engine delivers a peak torque of 220 Nm, enabling improved performance during heavy-duty operations. It is paired with a 16F+4R multi-speed transmission, designed to offer smoother power delivery and better efficiency. The tractor also features upgraded PTO and hydraulic systems, with a 2,000 kg lift capacity supported by heavy-duty linkages, allowing it to operate larger implements with greater confidence.

On the other hand, the Gold DI 55 III is equipped with a similar E3.5 engine architecture but delivers a higher maximum torque of 235 Nm. It comes with a 12F+3R multi-speed transmission and a double-clutch IPTO system, aimed at enhancing productivity in demanding farming conditions. Hydraulics on the Gold DI 55 III are rated at a 2,200 kg lift capacity, reinforcing its suitability for future-ready implements and intensive agricultural tasks.
Beyond performance, Sonalika has emphasised operator comfort and ease of use. Both models feature a muscular exterior design, signature Gold badging, and practical enhancements such as Jetline throttle control, Golden Glow headlamps, an Ergo deck platform and a next-generation instrument cluster. The tractors also receive an Ezz lift bonnet with gas struts, simplifying routine maintenance and improving accessibility during long working hours.
