Spark Minda Achieves 1 Million Smart Keyless System Milestone

Minda Corporation, the flagship brand of Spark Minda, has crossed the milestone figure of 1 million smart keyless systems for two-wheelers in India and global markets. These smart keyless systems are built at the company’s state-of-the-art R&D facility, the Spark Minda Technical Centre (SMIT), in Pune and Bengaluru. These hubs also work on innovation-led transformation focusing on connectivity, autonomous, shared, electric mobility, and software competencies.

Moreover, Spark Minda has over 29 manufacturing facilities not just across India, but in Vietnam and Indonesia. Additionally, Spark Minda has over 45 patents in Vehicle Access Systems along with an extensive experience in homologation across more than 50 countries. In the future, Spark Minda aims to strengthen further its presence in both the two-wheeler and four-wheeler smart Passive Entry Start (PEPS) market, which will prioritise securing encrypted key management and vehicle locking and unlocking systems.
