While Kumar Priyesh (left) and Shishir Mishra (right) remain at the forefront, they have new roles now.
Stellantis has announced a restructuring of its top-level management. The new leadership roles have been set as Stellantis prepares to launch a new brand in the country, Leapmotor, a Chinese EV brand.
Kumar Priyesh, who was earlier the Brand Director of Jeep India, will now become the Business Head and Director - Automotive Brands for the conglomerate. Shishir Mishra, who was the Brand Director of Citroën India, will now take over the role of Business Head and Director - Strategic Partnerships & Institutional Business. Shailesh Hazela will continue in his role as Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Stellantis India.
Priyesh was appointed as the Brand Director of Jeep India in January 2024, while Mishra was appointed as the head of Citroën India in February 2024. Meanwhile, Hazela assumed his duty as CEO and MD of Stellantis India from June 1, 2024.
While details haven’t been revealed yet, Stellantis did confirm last month that it will launch the Chinese EV brand, Leapmotor, in India. Leapmotor delivered close to 300,000 vehicles globally in 2024, making it one of the biggest EV brands to come out of China.
