The new colours have been introduced to target increased sales during the peak festive purchasing period.
Suzuki has unveiled an updated colour lineup for its adventure motorcycle, V-Strom SX, targeting increased sales during the peak festive purchasing period. The refresh maintains the existing price point while offering enhanced visual appeal to potential customers.
The motorcycle manufacturer has introduced four distinct colour options for its popular 250cc adventure bike, complemented by revised graphic elements and updated decal packages. These aesthetic changes are designed to create a more contemporary appearance and increase the motorcycle's road presence without affecting its pricing structure. The retail price remains consistent at ₹1,98,018, ex-showroom, Delhi, ensuring affordability remains unchanged for prospective buyers during the crucial festive season.
While the iconic yellow colourway continues to be available, the updated graphics package provides a fresh visual identity that draws styling cues from the manufacturer's larger V-Strom 800 DE model. This design alignment creates a more cohesive family appearance across the adventure motorcycle range.
The newly introduced blue and white colour combinations represent original additions to the lineup, offering new styling options that should appeal to riders seeking distinctive aesthetics. The refreshed black variant maintains similarity to its predecessor while incorporating subtle decal modifications that provide refined detailing.
Despite the cosmetic updates, the motorcycle's fundamental engineering and performance characteristics remain identical across all variants. The underlying mechanical package and bodywork architecture continue unchanged from the previous model year.
The adventure motorcycle continues to use a 249cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled powerplant that generates 26.5bhp and delivers 22.2Nm of peak torque output. Power transmission occurs through a six-speed manual gearbox, providing versatile gear ratios suitable for both urban commuting and highway touring applications.
The motorcycle maintains its established chassis setup featuring a 19-inch front and 17-inch rear alloy wheel combination. Suspension duties are handled by telescopic front forks paired with a rear monoshock arrangement, providing balanced handling characteristics for varied riding conditions.
Stopping power comes from single disc brake units mounted at both front and rear wheels, enhanced by a dual-channel Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) for improved safety during emergency braking scenarios.
The feature set includes modern lighting elements with LED headlight and taillight units providing enhanced visibility and energy efficiency. The instrument panel consists of a fully digital display cluster with Bluetooth connectivity capabilities.
Connected features encompass incoming message notifications, call alerts, and turn-by-turn navigation guidance through smartphone integration. Additional convenience elements include a USB charging port for mobile device power management and a rear luggage rack for touring accessories.
