Tata Motors has expanded its iconic Ace lineup with the launch of the new Ace Gold+ diesel pick-up truck, priced at ₹5.52 lakh (ex-showroom). The new model is aimed at value-conscious entrepreneurs and small business owners.
The Ace Gold+ is powered by a turbocharged diesel engine delivering 22 bhp of power and 55 Nm of torque, paired with a payload capacity of 900 kg. It also comes with multiple load deck configurations, making it versatile for a wide range of cargo applications.
One of the truck’s key highlights is its Lean NOx Trap (LNT) technology, which removes the need for Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF). This not only cuts down on recurring operating costs but also ensures compliance with emission norms – helping owners reduce expenses and boost profitability.
Pinaki Haldar, Vice President & Business Head – SCVPU, Tata Motors Commercial Vehicles, said, “Since its launch over two decades ago, the Tata Ace has consistently transformed last-mile mobility across India, empowering hundreds of thousands of entrepreneurs. With the Ace Gold+, we continue this legacy by offering a solution that simplifies business operations, enhances profitability, and nurtures India’s entrepreneurial spirit.”
The Ace Gold+ joins Tata Motors’ extensive small commercial vehicle and pickup portfolio, which includes the Ace Pro, Intra, and Yodha. The range caters to payloads from 750 kg to 2 tonnes and is offered with diesel, petrol, CNG, bi-fuel, and electric powertrains.
