Tata Altroz Racer Partially Teased Ahead Of June Launch

Tata Motors has released a teaser for the upcoming Altroz Racer, set to be launched next month. This supposed hot hatch, aimed to rival the Hyundai i20 N Line, will open for bookings in the coming days. Tata Motors has a busy 2024 planned, with several launches including the Tata Punch facelift, Harrier.ev, Safari.ev, Sierra.ev, and even the Altroz.ev.

First showcased at the Auto Expo 2023 and the Bharat Mobility Show 2024, the Altroz Racer will offer a range of features including a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless smartphone connectivity, multiple drive modes, a digital instrument cluster, wireless charger, automatic climate control, ventilated front seats, and an electrically adjustable sunroof.

Distinctive design elements for the Racer edition include a blacked-out hood, roof, ORVMs, pillars, and alloy wheels, with twin white stripes on the hood and roof. Inside, the cabin will feature a black and red theme with white accents.

The Altroz Racer will feature a 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine paired with a 6-speed manual transmission, producing 118 bhp and 170 Nm of torque, similar to the Hyundai i20 N Line's 1.0-litre turbo engine.
