Leading auto component maker, Tata AutoComp Systems has inaugurated two new manufacturing plants in Sanand, Gujarat. The first plant is for TM Automotive Seating System Private Ltd, and the other for TACO Air International Thermal Systems Private Ltd. The new manufacturing facilities take the total manufacturing units to eight for the company. Tata AutoComp supplies components to a host of OEMs, including Tata Motors, as well as other companies overseas.
Commenting on the inauguration, Arvind Goel, Vice-Chairman, Tata AutoComp

Building on this momentum, we plan to establish several additional plants across India this year, further strengthening our footprint and capacity to meet the future needs of the automotive industry."

TACS has a wide portfolio catering to interior and exterior systems, thermal, emission and powertrain, body and suspension systems. It also provided parts for electricals and electric vehicles, as well as services for engineering, supply-chain and automotive aftermarket.
