Tata Curvv EV, Nexon EV 45 Get Lifetime Warranty On HV Battery

Just like how the Tata Harrier EV gets a lifetime warranty on the high-voltage battery, the Curvv EV and Nexon EV 45 also get this new warranty scheme. The lifetime warranty also has no cap on the number of kilometres it is valid for. The lifetime warranty benefit will be extended to new and existing customers of the Curvv EV and Nexon EV 45 owners. 

In addition to the lifetime warranty, existing Tata Motors’ EV customers upgrading to a Curvv EV or Nexon EV 45 will get a loyalty bonus of ₹50,000 at the time of purchase. 

Tata Motors says this new lifetime warranty is supposed to remove a big barrier for EV adoption, which is “uncertainty around long-term battery health and replacement costs”, as per Tata Motors. A caveat for existing Curvv EV and Nexon EV 45 owners getting this warranty is that it is only applicable to first owners of these cars.
