Tata Curvv EV Series X Launched, Prices Start From ₹16.99 Lakh

Tata Motors has launched the Curvv EV Series X in India with a starting price of ₹16.99 lakh, ex-showroom India. The new range has two variants, Accomplished X 55 and Empowered X 55. The line-up also includes the Empowered X 55 DARK, priced at ₹19.49 lakh. 

The Curvv EV Series X is built on Tata’s acti.ev platform and comes with a 55 kWh battery pack. Tata says the car has a certified range of 502 km and a real-world C75 range of 400 km. The company has also said the model gets 167 bhp and 215 Nm of torque. 

The Accomplished X 55 gets an openable panoramic sunroof, dual digital displays, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and a 360-degree camera system with blind-spot view monitor. It also has RComfort seats with passive ventilation, leatherette upholstery, and rear sunshades. 

The Empowered X 55 adds front seat ventilation, a six-way power-adjustable driver seat, two-stage reclining rear seats, a Harman touchscreen system, an app suite, and a JBL nine-speaker sound system. It also gets Level 2 ADAS with 20 features, alloy wheels, V2V and V2L support, a gesture-controlled powered tailgate, and lighting functions. 

Tata said the new Series X range is meant to give buyers a clearer choice in the Curvv EV line-up. The company has also said the Series X comes with a lifetime HV battery warranty for the first owner, as defined in its terms.
