Tata Curvv Series X Launched Starting at ₹9.99 Lakh

Tata Motors has officially launched the Curvv Series X in India with ex-showroom prices starting at ₹9.99 lakh. This launch comes a few months after the debut of the Curvv EV Series X, meaning both the electric and internal combustion engine iterations of the Series X have now arrived in dealer showrooms.

The Series X will replace all other Curvv models. The brand is catering directly to value-conscious buyers who demand premium, high-end features in mid-spec variants without having to settle for a sub-4-metre SUV.

Tata Curvv Series X: New Seats with Passive Ventilation

In addition to the variant restructuring, Tata has re-engineered the interior to provide slightly better rear-seat room. By using a 10 mm slimmer front seat-back crafted from Shell Foam and moving the rear bench 20 mm rearward and 10 mm lower, the cabin offers a noticeably more spacious second-row seating experience. There’s also passive ventilation on all seats, which Tata claims is patented and is exclusive to the Curvv for the time being.

Tata Curvv Series X: Pure X+ Variant

Among the mid-spec options, the Pure X+ variant comes with tempting features for its starting price of ₹11.79 lakh (ex-showroom). It includes 17-inch precision diamond-cut alloy wheels, keyless entry with push-button start, leatherette treatment for the seats, steering wheel, and gear knob, as well as a 10.25-inch touchscreen display by Harman with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It also introduces a lighter Lalitpur Grey interior theme and R-Comfort ergonomically designed seats.

Tata Curvv Series X: Creative X+ Variant

If you want more premium features without breaking the bank, you can also consider the Creative X+ variant, which starts at ₹12.91 lakh ex-showroom. In addition to everything offered on the Pure X+, it includes niceties like a large AeroView panoramic sunroof, a 360-degree 3D surround-view camera with a blind-view monitor, front parking sensors, and a fully digital instrument cluster.

The complete Series X ladder spans from the entry-level Smart X trim up to the top-spec Accomplished X+ variant. Five exterior colour options are available across the lineup, including Pristine White, Pure Grey, Nitro Crimson, Opera Blue, and the Dark Edition, which is now offered from Pure X+ trim onwards.

Powertrain options continue as before, including a 1.2-litre Revotron petrol, a 1.2-litre Hyperion petrol, and a 1.5-litre Kryojet diesel engine. Safety remains standard across the range through Tata's Safety Dome framework, featuring six airbags, Electronic Stability Program, Hill Hold Control, ABS with EBD, and indirect tyre pressure monitoring.
