Tata Motors will implement a price hike of up to 2.5% across its commercial vehicle range effective from 1 July 2026 to counter rising commodity and input costs.
Tata Motors has announced an upcoming price hike of up to 2.5% across its entire commercial vehicle line-up. The revised pricing structure is scheduled to come into effect from 1 July 2026.
According to the manufacturer, the decision to implement this price increase is being undertaken to partially offset the ongoing impact of rising commodity prices and other escalating input costs. The company also specified that the exact amount of the price increase will vary across the portfolio, depending on the specific model and variant selected.
The company, which was formerly known as TML Commercial Vehicles Limited, underwent a formal name change to Tata Motors Limited effective from 29 October 2025. This transition was completed in accordance with the Composite Scheme of Arrangement sanctioned by the Honourable National Company Law Tribunal, Mumbai Bench, involving Tata Motors Limited, TML Commercial Vehicles Limited, and Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Limited.
Following this arrangement, the company’s equity shares are actively listed on both the BSE Limited and the National Stock Exchange of India Limited.
