Tata Motors will sell its Super Ace, Xenon, Ultra and LPT 613 range of commercial vehicles in the Caribbean country.
Tata Motors has entered the Dominican Republic with its commercial vehicles. The brand will sell its Super Ace, Xenon, Ultra and LPT 613 range in the Caribbean country. Tata Motors has entered into a partnership with Equimax, which will become its official distributor in the Dominican Republic.
The brand’s commercial vehicles are sold in over 40 countries across the world. Its export portfolio includes mini trucks with a payload capacity of under 1 tonne to heavy-duty trucks with more than 60 tonne payload capacity. It also sells large passenger transport vehicles that can seat between 9 and 71 passengers.
Tata Motors will offer a warranty of up to 5 years or 2 lakh km, but only on select models. It also said that Equimax’s “strategically located service centres ensure easy access to genuine spares and timely maintenance”.
Asif Shamim, Head – International Business, Tata Motors Commercial Vehicles, said, “The Dominican Republic presents a high-potential market aligned with Tata Motors Commercial Vehicles’ global growth ambitions. With its growing economy and infrastructure, our advanced commercial vehicle solutions are well-positioned to support national development goals.”
Tata Motors says the Super Ace lineup will be good for last mile mobility and will be ideal for FMCG, e-commerce and food delivery, while the Xenon range (with its single and double cab design) will be ideal for cargo transport and utility. The LPT 613 is designed for construction and infrastructure sectors, while the Ultra range is best for urban logistics.
