Tata Motors has introduced the Nexon.ev Empowered +A 45, featuring a Level-2 Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) for the first time in a subcompact EV. Priced at ₹17.29 lakh (ex-showroom), the new variant brings traffic sign recognition, lane departure warning, lane keep assist, adaptive lane centring, forward collision warning (for cars, pedestrians and cyclists), autonomous emergency braking, high beam assist and more.
The Empowered +A 45 is based on the top-spec 45 kWh model and joins two exclusive Dark editions, both priced at ₹17.49 lakh. These editions add an all-black exterior treatment, bolstered leatherette seats and bespoke UI themes on the 31.24 cm Harman touchscreen and 26.03 cm digital cluster.

For buyers seeking premium technology, the ADAS suite commands a modest premium of ₹30,000 over the earlier Nexon.ev Empowered + 45, which was priced at ₹16.99 lakh (ex-showroom) before the ADAS upgrade. Despite the incremental cost, the addition of a lifetime HV battery warranty (first owner only) adds to the value of the car.
The Nexon.ev 45 retains its 143 bhp, 215 Nm electric motor and real-world range of 350–370 km, with rapid charging capabilities of 20–80 percent in 40 minutes and 150 km of range added in 15 minutes. Comfort and convenience remain class-leading, with panoramic sunroof, rear window sunshade, ambient lighting and the full suite of connected car features.
