Tata Sierra: All Prices, Engine Options, Booking Date, Colour Options Announced

Tata Motors has now revealed the prices of the top-end variants of its recently launched Sierra SUV. While only a starting price was announced at the time of launch, the company later filled in some of the blanks in terms of prices and available engine and transmission combinations for the low and mid-spec variants. Now, we have a complete list with all variants, including the colour options each will be available in. 

Bookings for the new Tata Sierra open today, at dealerships across India. The entry-level price of ₹11.49 lakhs (ex-showroom, all-India) applies to the Smart+ variant with manual transmission. This option however comes without many of the features that buyers might be looking for. You can check out the detailed breakdown and comparison of specs here. This is also the only variant that is available only in basic neutral colours – Pristine White, Pure Grey, and Coorg Cloud. 

In addition to the details announced before, the Pure variant adds Tata Motors’ new tone-shifting Munnar Mist colour option; the Pure+ and Adventure options can also be had in the bright red Bengal Rouge finish, and the signature yellow Andaman Adventure option is reserved for the Adventure+, Accomplished, and Accomplished+ variants. This means buyers have six colours to choose from with the top three variants.

We now know the prices for the top-end Accomplished and Accomplished+ trims. The Accomplished variant with a 1.5L Revotron petrol engine and 6-speed manual transmission is priced at ₹17.99 lakh. That rises to ₹19.99 lakh with the 1.5L petrol Hyperion engine and torque converter AT. The 1.5L Kryojet diesel engine is available with manual or 6-speed automatic transmission, priced at ₹18.99 lakh and ₹19.99 lakh respectively.

At the absolute top of the line, the Accomplished+ variant comes with either the Hyperion petrol engine and automatic transmission, priced at ₹20.99 lakh, or the Kryojet diesel option and manual or automatic transmissions, priced at ₹20.29 lakh and ₹21.29 lakh respectively. 

Tata Motors advertises 230+ features for the top variants. Accomplished+ will be the only one with the heavily leaked triple-screen dashboard layout. It also gives buyers an air purifier with AQI readout, 6-way powered driver’s seat, Amazon Alexa integration, 73 connected features, rear fog lamps, built-in Mappls navigation, and 22 ADAS features. Both this and the Accomplished variant which sits below it get a JBL Black sound system with front soundbar and Dolby Atmos. Interestingly, the HypAR HUD with Multicolour Guides is exclusive to the Accomplished variant and not its more expensive sibling.
