Tata Motors has revealed the Tiago EV facelift's interior, featuring a big touchscreen, fabric-wrapped dashboard, and new rear AC vents.
Tata Motors has provided a brief look at the interior of the updated Tiago EV. The refresh moves beyond simple aesthetic changes, introducing a significantly more modern and premium cabin experience while maintaining the practical ergonomics that defined the previous model.
The interior continues with a dual-tone black-and-grey colour palette but features a redesigned horizontal dashboard with layered textures. A standout addition for this segment is the fabric-wrapped upper dashboard, which provides a softer and more upmarket feel. The tech suite has been upgraded with two free-standing units: an expected 10.25-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system and a dedicated digital driver’s display. Additionally, the new two-spoke steering wheel now features an illuminated "Tata.ev" logo.
In a move praised for its functionality, the manufacturer has opted to retain physical tactile buttons and rotary knobs for the climate control system rather than integrating them into the touchscreen. The redesigned center console now includes a wireless charging tray and more neatly integrated ports. Furthermore, the company has transitioned to high-quality dual-tone fabric upholstery across the range, replacing the leatherette found in previous top-tier trims to improve cabin airiness and comfort in warmer climates.
Rear-seat passengers also receive upgrades, with the facelift finally introducing rear AC vents and dedicated charging ports. Other refined details include redesigned window switches and textured dashboard inserts. These enhancements aim to position the Tiago EV as a more sophisticated offering in the entry-level electric vehicle market.
