QJ Motor unveiled the Super9 earlier this month in China at the CIMA show.
Chinese motorcycle manufacturer QJ Motor has introduced its latest model, the SRK921 aka "Super9," revealing its deep ties with Italian motorcycle maker MV Agusta. The new motorcycle showcased at this month's CIMA show in China, features a 921 cc four-cylinder engine that produces 127 bhp at 10,000 rpm.
The development stems from a 2020 partnership between MV Agusta and QJ Motor's parent company, Qianjiang, which initially planned a joint distribution and manufacturing ventures. While KTM's subsequent acquisition of a majority stake in MV Agusta altered some collaborative plans, the development of QJ Motor's MV Agusta-powered motorcycles has continued.
As for the Super9, it shares its technical specifications with QJ Motor's existing SRK 921 RR, including Marzocchi suspension, Brembo brakes, and a single-sided swingarm. The new model weighs 208 kg and features a 1424 mm wheelbase. In the Chinese market, the mechanically similar SRK 921 RR is priced at 69,999 yuan (which is roughly ₹8.48 lakh).
Additionally, QJ Motor has received type approval for its new SRK 700 RR model, featuring a 680 cc four-cylinder engine. This smaller-displacement motorcycle produces 100 bhp and maintains similar specifications to the company's SRK800RR, including Marzocchi suspension and Brembo brakes.
These two launches represent QJ Motor's continued expansion in the large-displacement motorcycle segment, building on its technical collaboration with established European manufacturers. The Chinese manufacturer's growing lineup now spans multiple displacement categories, targeting both domestic and international markets.
