Tesla has launched a pedal-free balance bike for toddlers aged two to five, featuring a lightweight magnesium frame and adjustable seat.
Tesla has expanded its branded lifestyle and merchandise collection in the USA by officially launching a pedal-free two-wheeler on its online storefront. Called ‘Balance Bike for Kids’, the newly released product is priced at $225 (approximately ₹18,800) and targets children aged two to five years old.
The design of the balance bike relies on a lightweight magnesium alloy frame, a material chosen to allow small children to lift, steer, and manoeuvre the frame without excessive effort. The bike features an adjustable seat configuration with five height levels to accommodate a growing child, supporting a maximum weight limit of 35 kg.

True to the operational nature of balance bikes, the product lacks a traditional mechanical drivetrain, pedals, or electric motor, requiring children to propel themselves forward using their feet to build coordination. Aesthetically, the bike incorporates the company's signature minimalist design language, finished with the Tesla wordmark and the recognisable T logo stamped onto the front badge assembly. The package also ships with all the necessary assembly tools included in the box.
The introduction of the toddler bike follows persistent industry speculation and consumer interest surrounding a hypothetical adult-targeted Tesla Model B e-bike. Although CEO Elon Musk has historically expressed mixed views regarding entering the two-wheeled electric mobility sector, direct automotive rivals like BMW and lifestyle EV brands like Rivian have actively commercialised premium e-bike products.
