2,305 units of the Glanza, built between April and October 2019, have been recalled.
Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has issued a recall for the Glanza, following the recall of the Maruti Suzuki Baleno. Toyota has recalled 2,305 units of the only hatchback in its portfolio due to a possible defect in the fuel pump motor.

The recall affects Glanzas built between April 2 and October 6, 2019. Interestingly, these dates are different from the Baleno, since Maruti Suzuki recalled vehicles built between July 30 and November 1, 2019. This is interesting because Maruti Suzuki produces the Glanza for Toyota from its plant in Gujarat, as a part of the technology-sharing collaboration between the two brands.
Like the Baleno, this is the second time Toyota has issued a recall for the Glanza due to a faulty fuel pump. Toyota issued a recall for the 3,093 units of the Glanza back in July 2020, which were manufactured between the same dates as the current recall.

Toyota says its service centres will conduct a voluntary recall campaign and will contact affected customers individually. The Glanza is powered by a 1.2-litre petrol engine that is mated to either a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT and also comes with the option of a factory-fitted CNG kit.
