Toyota Kirloskar Motor has unveiled the 2025 Fortuner Leader Edition in India, building upon the success of its predecessor with enhanced styling and premium features. The new edition reinforces Toyota's dominance in the premium SUV segment, where the Fortuner has maintained its position as the market leader despite intense competition.
The Toyota Fortuner continues to command the premium SUV segment in India, priced between ₹33.65 lakh and ₹48.85 lakh (ex-showroom). The 2025 Leader Edition, available in both manual and automatic transmission variants, slots between the standard Fortuner and the premium Legender variants, with pricing details to be announced during dealer bookings starting from the second week of October 2025.

The prices are not out yet, but expect the Leader Edition to be priced above the standard Fortuner 4x2’s
The 2025 Fortuner Leader Edition features a refreshed exterior design with a new grille, front and rear bumper spoilers, dual-tone black roof, and glossy black alloy wheels. Interior upgrades include dual-tone black and maroon seats, auto-folding mirrors, illuminated scuff plates, and an advanced Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS).
Powered by Toyota's 1GD-FTV 2.8-litre turbocharged diesel engine, the Leader Edition delivers 201 bhp and 500 Nm of torque, paired with either a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission. The rear-wheel-drive configuration ensures optimal balance between performance and fuel efficiency.
