Triumph India Announces 13th Edition of Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride

Triumph Motorcycles has officially announced the return of the Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride (DGR) for its 13th edition, scheduled to take place on 17 May 2026. The event will see enthusiasts raising awareness and funds for men’s mental health and prostate cancer research.

This year’s event holds particular significance for the Indian market as Triumph celebrates a major milestone of reaching 100,000 motorcycles on Indian roads. The ride is expected to be a massive affair across the country, with organised events planned in more than 50 cities. While Triumph serves as the official global partner, the ride is inclusive and welcomes owners of all modern classic and vintage style motorcycles regardless of the manufacturer.

The initiative was originally founded in Sydney, Australia, by Mark Hawwa to challenge negative stereotypes associated with motorcyclists while fostering community spirit. Since its inception in 2012, the movement has mobilised over 500,000 riders globally and raised upwards of 55 million USD for health initiatives.

Manik Nangia, President of Pro-biking at Bajaj Auto Limited, noted that the event embodies the spirit of those who appreciate the finer details of motorcycling. He highlighted that the growing community in India reflects a shared passion for both heritage and purpose.

To further expand its reach, Triumph recently updated its entry level platform to a 350 cc engine configuration. This strategic move allows customers to benefit from a lower 18% GST bracket, resulting in savings of approximately ₹21,500.

Participants are encouraged to register on the official website, dress in their finest dapper clothing, and join the procession to support vital research. Top fundraisers on a global scale will be eligible for various rewards, including limited edition motorcycles and premium riding gear.
