The discounts were part of the first anniversary celebrations of the Triumph bikes in India
Bajaj Auto Ltd. announced today that it has extended the discount on the Triumph Speed 400 and the Scrambler 400X. The ₹10,000 discount was announced last month as part of the anniversary celebration of the entry-level Triumph bikes in the Indian market. Based on the new announcement, the discount on both the Triumph 400 bikes has been extended to August 31. Both the Triumph motorcycles have been designed and developed by the British brand and are manufactured by Bajaj Auto in India to ensure an aggressive pricing. This strategy has been successful as global sales have been over 50,000 units since the bike went on sale last year. The Triumph Speed 400 range is exported to over 50 countries across the globe.

The Triumph Speed 400 is a retro-roadster motorcycle with design inspiration from the Bonneville range of bikes and competes against the likes of the Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450, Harley-Davidson X440 and the Jawa 42. Being manufactured in India, the Speed 400 is available at a very competitive ₹2.24 lakh (ex-showroom). The Triumph Scrambler 400X retails for ₹2.54 lakh (ex-showroom) and the off-road motorcycle rivals the likes of the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 and the KTM 250 Adventure. Triumph Motorcycles currently has over 100 dealerships across the nation and more dealerships are expected to be operational in the near future.
Commenting on the announcement, Sumeet Narang, President Pro-Biking, Bajaj Auto Ltd. commented. “It has been a round of serial celebrations for us as we mark the first anniversary of the Bajaj Auto & Triumph Motorcycles collaboration. We crossed sales of 50,000 Triumph 400s across 50 countries. We also expanded to over 100 best-in-class showrooms in 75 cities, bringing the Triumph experience to more riders in India. In response to overwhelming bookings and retails, we are extending the anniversary offer till Aug 31 2024. The incredible response to our Modern Classics is a testament to our commitment to exceptional customer service and our Ride & Community programs which ensure a truly immersive Triumph ownership journey.”
